Use your Guitar as a MIDI Keyboard!

DESCRIPTION

Guiboard captures the pitch of the incoming audio, and converts it into MIDI notes. The recognized MIDI notes are displayed with musical notes, guitar fingering, piano fingering, and played with internal test sound. Also with support for CoreMIDI, Guiboard can send MIDI output to the other app, or to the connected device through cable or WI-FI.

If you connect your guitar via a guitar interface cable, Guiboard work better. Supported guitar interface cables are IK Multimedia iRig, Peavey Ampkit Link, Apogee Jam, Sonoma Wire Works GuitarJack, etc.

  1. Guiboard allows access to the microphone.
  2. To allow Guibaord to have access to your device's microphone, simply go to your device's [Settings>Privacy>Microphone] and enable Guiboard.
  3. Connect your guitar if you have a guitar interface cable.
  4. Supported guitar interface cables are IK Multimedia iRig, Peavey Ampkit Link, Apogee Jam, Sonoma Wire Works GuitarJack, etc.
  5. Go to [Preferences] screen.
  6. By swiping left or right at the main screen, you can do the screen transition between [Playing notes] and [Preferences].
  7. Adjust the input sensitivity
  8. [mic.] is a standard when you are using the michrophone without any guitar interface, [hum.] is a standard for humbucker pickup, [sing.] is for single coil pickup. Adjust the input sensitivity to suit your environment.
  9. Select the MIDI output.
  10. You can send MIDI output to the other app, or to the connected device through cable or WI-FI. If you want send MIDI events to the other app, you must run the app before.
  11. Play and enjoy!
  12. By swiping left or right at the instrument screen, you can do the sreen transition between [Guitar] and [Piano].
